Hello from Wendy Wilmot Properties – your neighbors, your friends, your real estate agents.
We mean it when we say we’re locals. We live on island 24/7/365 – and we love every minute of it. Here at Wendy Wilmot Properties, sharing this Island love is what we do – we give visitors a look into this way of life through our rental program and we become your neighbors as we help you through the buying/selling process.
We live where we work, so we’re committed to being a part of the community and making it a better place. Take a look at some of our agents and how they spend their time on Island when they’re not saying “Hello Yellow”…
“Sweet Tea” Johnny supports the Conservancy’s fundraising each year by donating a deep-sea fishing trip to its auction, and he spearheads the BHI Fishing Rodeo.
Ginger has been involved with the CARE Project (a non-profit giving hope to those with hearing challenges) since its inception 14 years ago. Take a look at the logo and you’ll see just how integral Bald Head Island is in the project.
Lighthouse Ministries holds a week-long Island retreat for families with children who have died from cancer. Anne is the point person for this highly anticipated and growing annual event. Nicole is an avid sponsor, donating her BHI home to this cause every chance she gets!
Debbie and Kirby both serve on Chapel committees (Debbie taking on the presidency of its Board this year). They are also both instrumental in BHI’s Public Safety Auxiliary, where Debbie is the Vice President.
Wendy’s love of the Island has prompted her, as well as her husband Andy, to be involved in many areas of Island life – Bald Head Island government, environmental organizations, social activities, you name it! Wendy has served on the Board of the Bald Head Island Conservancy and has been very involved with Project 20/20. She is also an active member of the Ladies Golf Association, a long-time member of Golf and Green Community Ladies Golf Association and has served as chairman of the Long-Range Planning Committee for the P.O.A. Andy has served over 20 years in various governmental positions on BHI, including serving as a member of the Town Council and as Mayor. In addition, Andy has also served on the Board of Governors for the Bald Head Island Club.
It’s clear we love Island life…and our results show we love selling the Island, too.
