Urban Coast Electric Inc. is owned and operated by Bob and Lisa Mace.  The Maces fell completely in love with Bald Head Island and decided to permanently relocate their home and business to the area in 2011 from Charlotte.   As avid fishermen, golfers, and lovers of all things BEACH, this was an easy decision to make.  Urban Coast Electric Inc. proudly and exclusively serves Bald Head Island.  Their office is located at 2A Merchants Row (second floor) and they are always available and honored to assist with your electrical needs.  They can be reached at 910-713-8111 by phone or text and by email at urbancoastelectric@yahoo.com.  Their door is always open and they are ready to greet you with a smile and hearty conversation.  With fall quickly approaching, which is Lisa’s favorite time of year, a fresh cup of coffee, candy and pumpkin spice everything is always on hand.

The Maces are silver sponsors of the Conservancy and recognize the important role it takes in the preservation and conservation of the island from the maritime forest, marshes, and beaches to its wildlife and their habitats.  Urban Coast Electric Inc. has also had the privilege of completing several electrical projects for the Conservancy throughout the years.  Bringing friends and family to the Turtle Central Gift Shop when they visit each year is always an important part of the trip, as well as, exploring the campus and educational/recreational activities offered.

The Maces and their awesome and hardworking team of electricians: John Crofts, Cody Shumate, Reid Straughan, Tim Brois and Connor Stone want to extend a very huge thank you for all the support throughout the years.  Bob recently had major surgery and the outpouring of well wishes from customers, contractors, and friends on the island was so overwhelming and so very much appreciated. In closing, another tidbit of exciting news from our camp is Bob has recently earned his Merchant Mariner Credential (Captain’s License) from the USCG so if you see him around the island be sure to say hi to our official Captain Bob!
