Local Islander Gives Back to Sea Turtles Through Art

Content Image

Local islander and artist Jack Klippel is giving back to the Conservancy this Fall with an artistic fundraiser, just in time for the holiday season. Over the next month, Jack will be selling hand carved wooden sea turtles to benefit the Conservancy. Jack, owner of Marshdog Folk Art, says he is donating proceeds back to the Conservancy to help support our mission.

“The mission and programs of the Conservancy are at the very core of what is unique about Bald Head Island and serve to enrich our lives.”

For the remainder of November, all proceeds from sales of these unique hand carved creations will be donated to the Conservancy, in celebration of our beloved sea turtles.
