This April, the Bald Head Island Conservancy and Bald Head Association are hosting our inaugural Earth Day event! Our theme this year is Pollinators, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Please join us April 5 at Marina Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a native plant sale, farmers market, and lots of fun activities for the whole family! The NC Wildlife Federation, Bee City USA, Old Baldy, the BHI Garden Club and others will also be joining us to share information on the importance of pollinators on Bald Head Island, and how you can help create habitat for them in your own backyard.
The BHI Conservancy will be hosting activities focused on colors in nature. We invite you to come and explore the new pollinator garden and complete our Colors-in-Nature Bioblitz activity. You’ll learn how to use iNaturalist, a community science app, and make observations that scientists can use in their research! We hope to see you there!
