Totally Turtles

Come learn about all the amazing turtles that call BHI their home! During this interactive program, you’ll meet a variety of turtles that live on BHI and learn about their biology and anatomy, what type of ecosystem they live in and how you can help protect them! A parent/guardian must stay with the child participants during the program and purchase their own ticket.

It’s important to note that the Conservancy is not a sea turtle rehabilitation center and does not have sea turtles in their collection. However, this program provides an excellent opportunity for families to learn about the Sea Turtle Protection Program on Bald Head Island and gain a greater appreciation for the unique wildlife found on the island.
