Become a BHIC Member for 2024

One of the best ways to support our mission to Discover, Learn, Conserve and Preserve is to become a BHIC member. Not only will your membership donation further our conservation, research, and education efforts on Bald Head Island, but as a member, you will receive benefits throughout the year and join a wonderful community of environmental stewards.

We offer several different membership options to choose from, but every membership receives Turtle Walks Passes and discounts on Turtle Central purchase and some Conservancy programs.

Friends who generously donate $125 to the Conservancy receive two Turtle Walk Passes and 10% off at Turtle Central and Conservancy programs.

A $300 Family membership has the same discounts but additional Turtle Walk Passes for a total of 6 Turtle Walks during the 2024 sea turtle nesting season.

For a donation of $400, Sponsor members receive 12 annual Turtle Walk Passes and one Conservancy Program Family Pass. Sponsors also have a 10% discount on Conservancy Programs and shopping at Turtle Central.

Patron members who donate $550 not only receive 18 Turtle Walk Passes, but also 50% Beach Patrol Ride-Along Passes for one night on patrol with our Sea Turtle Protection Team. Patron members are also subject to the 10% Turtle Central and Conservancy programs discount.

Life Membership at BHIC is $7,500. Life Members are given name recognition in our Barrier Island Study Center and have priority access to special events at the Conservancy. Additionally, Life Members receive 24 annual Turtle Walk Passes, a private Nature Tour, two Beach Patrol Ride-Along Passes, 15% off at Turtle Central, and unlimited Conservancy Program Passes.
