Atlantic Realty Professionals has helped islanders buy and sell their homes for more than 20 years. Owned by David Berne, son of Generator Society members Bill and Billie Jean Berne, David has been a part of the fabric of Bald Head Island since the mid-1970s. Along with fellow society members Thad and Lee Wester, the Berne family helped establish BHI Conservancy in 1983, and both families have been integral parts of our growth and success these past 40 years.
David remembers the enthusiasm of his and other families who were early pioneers of the island, valuing the importance of conservation and preservation. To that end, Atlantic Realty Professionals has long been a corporate sponsor of the BHI Conservancy, offering financial and good will support for the programs and activities of BHIC that help make BHI the natural beauty she is.
In addition to ongoing corporate sponsorships, there are many small but significant ways Atlantic Realty Professionals continues to support BHI Conservancy, including support of the July Auction Event. When asked to support the auction again for 2024, David said, “Sure. We have been donating bikes for 10+ years and have been a supporter of the Auction for 25+ years.” This enduring support of Atlantic Realty Professionals allows the Conservancy to continue to work together as we discover, learn, conserve and preserve.
